Foam Core Signs

Yes - custom sizes and shapes are available through our digital die-cutting printing services. Customize your sign to any business logos, custom cut lettering, decals, circles or stars, or any unique shape you prefer. 

We have a few options available. Grommets can be installed to give your foam board a versatile array of display options such as hung banner style, mounted on the wall, or zip-tied to a fixture. Command strips also allow for mounting the sign, or it can be set on floor easels for a more portable display.

Foamcore signs are made of a study, lightweight material called polystyrene.

• Foamcore is the most cost-effective option and is ideal for a quick turnaround. It is the least durable in transport and is ideal for indoor use. Great for single use at trade shows. 
• Coroplast, or corrugated plastic, is the cheapest weatherproof option we offer, it is more durable than foamcore and gatorboard, and is commonly mounted with steaks in lawns through the flute creasing in the material. 
• Gatorboard has print on both sides, is weather resistant and more durable in transport, and is ideal for multiple indoor use at events or conventions. 
• PVC is a stronger, more durable option, is weatherproof and UV-resistant, and is ideal for longer-term usage. It is the standard entry level signage material, and is common for restaurant menu boards.
• Styrene is thinner and more flexible than sintra PVC, and is intended for indoor use. Great for temporary wall advertisements. 
• Acrylic is rigid and eye catching glass-like material that can be clear or frosted in appearance. It is commonly used in high end reception areas such as a dentist or doctor’s office.
• Polymetal is a cost effective option made by a nonmetal core with aluminum on either side of the board. It is very durable, weatherproof, and is a great option for outdoor signage. Commonly used for parking signs, corporate signs, or real estate signage.

Foam boards can be used for many different purposes. Common uses include in-store or storefront displays, event promotion, or presenting information at a trade show. 

Yes! You can have a single or double-sided design.

No - we do not recommend displaying this sign outside as it is not weather proof. If you’re looking for a better outdoor option we recommend yard signs or PVC.

We do have same-day options available for many products and specs - you will have to email us this request so we can work with you to get your project completed on time.

We have design templates available for most of our products that include recommendations for print design details such as safety, trim, bleed, border, and fold lines. Our templates also disclose what format and resolution is best for your desired product.

Foamcore boards are recommended for temporary use or to be kept stationary to avoid bending, denting, and tearing. If you are looking for a long-lasting and portable product, we recommend looking into one of our laminated PVC, polymetal, or styrene board options.
